As a team, we invest our time researching new up-and-coming electrical installations whether it is Solar PV, EV install for your electric car or a smart home. Innovation in the electrical market is constantly evolving and we make sure that we evolve with it.

MEET THE TEAM

Olly Ford - Founder

Hi - I’m Olly. I always wanted to be a skilled tradesman, there’s something about the act of building that I was drawn to even as a child - I loved Lego!

At the age of 14, I started working with an electrical company on Saturdays and during the school holidays. When I left school at 16 there was never anything else I was going to do, I went straight into an electrical apprenticeship with the same company.

Over the following 6 years, I learned how to be an electrician to focus on the new era of domestic and commercial installations. The time finally came where I decided to put on my businessman hat and take a dive into this exciting but unknown territory. OJF Electrical was created and the start of a brilliant adventure.

The team and I invest time in researching the latest trends in modern electronic installations so we can ensure our clients get the best experience!

Mason - Electrician

Hi, I'm Mason. Becoming an electrician was never my first choice of work, I always dreamed of being a professional footballer like every other young kid!

It was only until the last year of school when I really thought about my career path and realised I wasn't going to be the next David Beckham so I focused on electrics as I knew this could open many doors for me down the line. Once I left school I was lucky enough to undertake an apprenticeship with my uncles’ firm.

6 years later, having learned the different aspects of both the domestic and commercial industry, I'm now part of OJF Electrical!

I met Olly when he had just started up OJF and helped out on a few jobs, thinking back now they were my trial runs.

After liking my work, Olly explained his direction of the company and asked me to join the team. I wasn't hesitant at all and said yes straight away as I wanted to be part of something big and help the company reach its true potential!
